My name is Giancarlo Henao. I am 16 years old. I like collecting sneakers and playing video games. I am a big sports fan. I also like hanging out with my friends. My goal is to be a better writer this year. I want to be a sports writer in the future. This year I like reading 'The Alchemist' in class. I also enjoy the group projects we do in class. I hope this play will be fun and hopefully there will be more group projects in class!

Henrik Ibsen

Henrik Ibsen was born in 1828. He was an author and a poet. He lived between Italy and Germany for 27 years. During his career, he tried being an artist. He had lots of struggles along the way to fame and success. Ibsen's drama gives his special character an experience of missing out on life and plodding along in a state of living death. Ibsen likes giving his main characters strives towards a goal. In the early 1850's, Ibsen worked for drama. He worked with a Frenchman and German and studied Euro-heatrical art. He published "A Doll's House", "When We Dead Awaken", "Pillars of Society", etc. He died in 1906. He has a very bad illness that prevented him from writing more. I think the title relates to his life on how you should appreciate the things in life before you get old or something happens to you. Also to strive to a goal. I think the play will focus on how you should appreciate and take advantage on what you have before death.
